This is a multi-year program where the India Tech teams are involved heavily. The technology stack used is predominantly Q/Kdb Core Java C# .NET C and Sybase. We are hiring in the areas of Front Office Middle Office Risk Management and Client Intelligence Technologies.The India Equities Technology organization is 600 within JPMorgans Corporate and Investment Bank (CIB) organization and covers the following functions Execution Services Technology comprising of: Electronic Trading (Execution core components Exchange Connectivity Client on-boarding DMA Smart Order Routing - SoR Algorithmic Trading Data Analytics etc ) Flow Sales and Trading (Front Office Sales and Trading Order Management systems and Reporting) Risk Analytics and Structuring Trade Management Global Clearing Technology Prime Finance Markets Risk and P&L ReportingThe Equities Data Analytics Technology Team is responsible for delivering applications which are used by traders to check analytics derived from the trading data in Equities domain.The team is part of the Equity Derivatives Risk and Structuring Technology team who are responsible for delivering the full technical infrastructure used to provide real time position risk & pnl and trade lifecycle management for the Equity Derivatives business.The team is part of the Equity Derivatives Risk and Structuring Technology team who are responsible for delivering the full technical infrastructure used to provide real time position risk & pnl and trade lifecycle management for the Equity Derivatives business.You will be responsible for design implementation support and documentation of the Equity Data as a service infrastructure with ownership of the following tasks: Develop specific enhancements and/or build new solutions to fulfil business objectives related to new business requirements: Comply with project life cycle methodology and adhere to IT control policies and guidelines. Liaise with the Business globally to understand requirements and identify technical solutions Work productively with minimum supervision. Support system testing user testing and production implementation.Where appropriate define the development plan and milestones and ensure delivery is in line with initial plan and strategy Provide 3rd level support to the business Investigate debug and resolve issues with the teams applications Liaise and work with those responsible for the operation of the application to resolve production issuesBecome familiar with the financial products and other business aspects related to the application.We are recruiting a senior Java Developer to join the Equities Data Analytics Technology Team. This is a VP role and the candidate is expected to be an expert in Java j2ee technologies and be hands on with the latest frameworks. Someone keen to make an impact in a new challenging and dynamic environment.Essential skills Experienced Java developer (12 Years) - Core Java SpringBoot Cloud Microservices JDBC ODBC XML Intellij/Eclipse Maven GIT Jenkins Junit Excellent knowledge of frameworks in java and should have extensively used and worked on the same. Candidate should be completely hands on and should be open to developing and contributing to the teams project work. Solid knowledge of Oracle&SQL programming with the ability to write and maintain stored procedures. Proficient in UNIX shell scripting use of command line features. Candidate should have good experience in mentoring junior java members and participate in code review and deployment validation activities. Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
