Youll be responsible for implementing solutions that cover data sourcing ingestion persistence and presentation capabilities. You will utilize modern agile SDLC best practices to achieve technical excellence through adherence to code quality standards test coverage and software maintainability while embracing principles such as API-first design continuous integration and delivery DevOps and automated testing. As a member of a global and diverse organization that emphasizes collaboration with others you will work as part of a cross-functional team which includes designers product managers and engineers.This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities including :BS/BA degree or equivalent experienceProvide technical expertise throughout the software lifecycle including designimplementation and delivery.Understanding cloud virtualization APIs and modern software languagesSoftware development experience in one or more general purpose programming languages: Java Python C C GoExperience with developing frameworks that helps increasing developer and release velocity improving code health and technical standardsAdvanced experience working with two or more from the following: web application development database unix/linux environments distributed and parallel systems information retrieval networking large scale software development security software developmentUnderstanding or have experience with agile and lean philosophiesStrong critical thinking and problem solving skills with clear communicationAbility to collaborate with different roles to achieve common goalsHands-on full development lifecycle experienceExperience with debugging performance profiling and optimization.Skilled in Big data technologies such as Hive Hbase Solr Spark Cassandra ElasticsearchStrong understanding of cluster-topology and sharding/partitioningExtensive experience with message driven development such as Kafka Tibco EMS and MQ for high volume based platforms and scalable distributed systemsExperience in highly scalable REST/web service caching servers SOAP HTTPSWhen you work at JPMorgan Chase & Co. youre not just working at a global financial institution.
