• The Cloud research and development team at Motorola Mobility (a Lenovo Company) has been providing cloud enabled experiences and platform services to our mobile devices and ecosystem of partners worldwide. The team is at the center of a fast paced innovation cycle that is bringing mobile and cloud offerings as a seamless end to end experience to our consumers. The group uses a broad spectrum of technologies to develop its platforms and is made available as an app on a mobile device or a SAAS based web application or as platform services with API interfaces in the cloud. Technologies used to deliver these capabilities span Java Server based technologies Big Data and Analytics stack Google Cloud services Content delivery frameworks Android framework & apps a range of web tools scripts and application models. The team is comprised of engineers with wide range of experience and interest areas and are passionate about developing large scalable platforms technologies and experiences that will revolutionize the next wave of innovation in mobile computing.You will have the responsibility of developing data services data feed and mobile analytics insight solutions based on Google Cloud services - Big Query Cloud Storage App Engine Datastore App Engine and Compute Engine. You will also have the responsibility of implementing Motorolas next gen consumer engagement platforms and device usage driven analytics for cloud driven services running on Motorola devices. You will be interfacing closely with Product Management Quality Assurance Operations and development teams. Delivery and supporting of next gen consumer engagement platform in time with quality is essential.Position RequirementsGood knowledge in Java and SQL Data structures and Algorithms is a must. Prior experience with Google cloud platform Python shell scripting is desirable. Passion to innovate and provide solutions for Big Data and Data Analytics Deep understanding of distributed computing and has experiences in delivering solutions in this area.Sound understanding of RDBMS concepts and working knowledge of Oracle DB MySQL High energy and passion towards delivering innovative solutions.Proven experience in development and commercial deployment of cloud driven experience.Excellent knowledge and experience in Java programming OOAD multi-threading and concurrency conceptsExperience with Linux Apache Web Servers SQL HTTP.Demonstrated experience in public cloud technologies. For example in Google Cloud services BigQuery Cloud Storage App Engine Datastore App Engine and GCE will be an added advantage.Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
