This is a multi-year program where the India Tech teams are involved heavily. The technology stack used is predominantly Q/Kdb Core Java C# .NET C and Sybase. We are hiring in the areas of Front Office Middle Office Risk Management and Client Intelligence Technologies.The India Equities Technology organization is 600 within JPMorgans Corporate and Investment Bank (CIB) organization and covers the following functions Execution Services Technology comprising of: Electronic Trading (Execution core components Exchange Connectivity Client on-boarding DMA Smart Order Routing - SoR Algorithmic Trading Data Analytics etc ) Flow Sales and Trading (Front Office Sales and Trading Order Management systems and Reporting) Risk Analytics and Structuring Trade Management Global Clearing Technology Prime Finance Markets Risk and P&L ReportingThe Equities Risk Technology Team is responsible for delivering applications used to calculate and analyze price and risk measures for the Equities business.The team is part of the Equity Derivatives Risk and Structuring Technology team who are responsible for delivering the full technical infrastructure used to provide real time position risk & pnl and trade lifecycle management for the Equity Derivatives business.You will be responsible for design implementation support and documentation of the Equity Data as a service infrastructure with ownership of the following tasks: Develop specific enhancements and/or build new solutions to fulfil business objectives related to new business requirements: Comply with project life cycle methodology and adhere to IT control policies and guidelines. Liaise with the Business globally to understand requirements and identify technical solutions Work productively with minimum supervision. Support system testing user testing and production implementation.Where appropriate define the development plan and milestones and ensure delivery is in line with initial plan and strategy Provide 3rd level support to the business Investigate debug and resolve issues with the teams applications Liaise and work with those responsible for the operation of the application to resolve production issuesBecome familiar with the financial products and other business aspects related to the application.We are recruiting a Senior Python Developer to join the Equities Data Engineering Technology Team. The role will be delivering build out the strategic Data-as-a-Service infrastructure. The successful candidate will analyze design and implement solutions. Development work will be focused on the infrastructure to support data governance and metadata.RequirementsWe are looking for proactive highly motivated technologists with a positive attitude. Must have excellent team-working communication analytical and problem solving skills. Someone keen to make an impact in a new challenging and dynamic environment.Essential skills Experienced & solid Python developer (6 Years) - Python Database Skills Solid knowledge of Oracle & SQL programming with the ability to write and maintain database queries. Proficient in UNIX shell scripting use of command line features. Excellent Data analytics skills and should have good experience with looking and analyzing large datasets and deriving meaningful analytics using python libraries. Good in Equities Domain knowledge. Experience of access and presentation of high data volumes efficiently and reliably. Excellent analytical and problem solving skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills.Desirable Working with a globally distributed client and peer groups.
