Job Summary:Experience: Experience in the SAP FICO and data management field Past experience that demonstrates the ability to work with multiple business lines to drive governance and stewardship within a global organizations Working experience in change management configuration management is a plus Experience with major querying tools and knowledge of database concepts a plus become increasingly self-sufficient in their use of the solution execute business processes accurately and efficiently join a network of excellence that will drive the adoption and standardized usage of the Mercury solution request use manage and maintain master data effectively and efficiently on a global basis identify opportunities for improvement and input to user acceptance testing cycles. Essential Functions of the Job: Hands on experience in Maintaining Finance MDM (FICO Objects) which includes Maintenance of COA Vendor Customer Asset House Bank and Bank Key Cost Center including COPA segements creation Profit Center Standard and Alternative hierarchy etc..within the Mercury SAP system To work on over head controlling activities Knowledge on Internal orders Cost centre creation. Knowledge on GL master data maintainance Have knowledge on House Bank s To work on end to end SAP FICO Process To work on periodic cleansing of master data objects Hands on experience for resolving the SAP FICO Service Requests and Incidents Have experience on process improvement and data control of MDM/FICO objects Generate reports from various applications and tools Ensure data is aligned to defined solution and data standards Performs data analysis and quality checks on assigned data domain Participates in and supports the Data Steward in periodic audits and reviews of data quality Assist the Data Stewards through ad-hoc analysis by writing queries that will extract information from the data warehouse. Analyze data and create reports in a presentable format: Retrieve appropriate data with analytics tool Compile output either from the data warehouse (EDW) or the analytics tool Develop reports on Excel Write analysis (i.e. observations insights recommendations) based on compiled data Produce weekly bi-weekly and monthly Excel reports for management Ensure that data management methodologies include the steps activities and deliverables required to consistently achieve high-quality secure data Gather data for analysis purposes using complex data mining instructions and scenarios. Produce needed statistics to allow others to make informed decisionsAnalytical/Decision Making Responsibilities:(Describe the kind of problems and challenges typically faced and decisions required to perform the job as well as recommendations made to supervisors or others. Focus on the nature of existing policies precedents and procedures used to guide decisions and the degree to which the incumbent is free to make decisions requiring interpretation and judgment. Provide an example.) Participate in audits to benchmark the state of data quality retention security etc. and its impact on desired business outcomes. Participate in and provide data for the creation of data quality scorecard or dashboard. Actively participate in the design and deployment of applications and data integration processes to ensure standards and controls to ensure high-quality data is implemented in adherence with data governance policies.Knowledge and Skills Requirements:(Describe the knowledge or skills needed to perform this job; these may be technical managerial or behavioral in nature.) Experience analyzing data Experience with data processing flowcharting techniques Knowledge of data capture update usage and other core business processes that influence data life-cycle At least two years in a supporting role of data or information management involving data analysis data stewardship metadata management data governance and/or master data management in a large business setting. Past experience that demonstrates the ability to work with multiple business lines to drive governance and stewardship within a global organization. Working experience in change management configuration management would be a plus. Experience with major querying tools Service Now / HPALM / ITIL Methodologies and knowledge of database concepts preferred. Having knowledge on SAP FICO Module Knowledge on LSMW/BAPI and IDOC functionality Job Skills Good Excel Analytical skills Expetise in reconciliation between Non SAP to SAP system Skills that demonstrate the ability to work with multiple business lines Strong research and analytical skills as well as data profiling manipulation and cleansing experience. Detailed oriented strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Multi-tasking abilities and the ability to work in a fast paced environment. Desire and aptitude to learn Master Data Management technologies and concepts.
