• Applications Developer 3 - 19000NS2Preferred Qualifications Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science or related field with 3 years professional experience in software development Proficiency in at least one modern object oriented programming language such as Java or C Good understanding of CS fundamentals data structures and algorithms Working knowledge of UNIX or Linux systems or in MAC os Hands on coding experience in Java is a must 3 years of experience in Web/Enterprise based projects. Expertise on mobile technology is an advantage Very good interpersonal and communication skills Obsession with quality and customer experience Attention to detail coupled with ability to think abstractly Excellent problem solving skills Emphasis on Code quality Code Review Unit Testing Code coverage Exposure in Angular or Node js is a plus Exposure in Bots development in earlier projects is an added advantage Exposure in development using JavaScript and using automation tools like Selenium Appium is a tremendous plus.Preferred extra skills Qualifications Has experience in mentoring other software developers Strong desire to build sense of ownership urgency and drive Excellent written communication and verbal agility are strong assetsDetailed Description and Job RequirementsAnalyze design develop troubleshoot and debug software programs for commercial or end user applications. Writes code completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications.As a member of the software engineering division you will perform high-level design based on provided external specifications. Specify design and implement minor changes to existing software architecture. Build highly complex enhancements and resolve complex bugs. Build and execute unit tests and unit plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering as necessary to discuss minor changes to product functionality and to ensure quality and consistency across specific products.Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel.
