Senior Java Developer (looking For Immediate Joiners )

Job Description

• Participate in the development testing and implementing efficient cost-effective application solutions which may involve diverse development platforms software hardware technologies and tools Work directly with the Lead or Application Architect to align software artifacts with design and overall system architecture Implement new subsystems or enhancements to existing systems Create software artifacts and/or documentation that will ease post-delivery support of the system Adhere to standards including coding testing and methodology Works under general supervision; typically reports to a Development Lead. Essential Functions and Responsibilities o Willingness and ability to work with a distributed team across multiple time zones o Strong communication skills including appropriately articulating technical issues or concerns to all of the following audiences Developers Application Development Managers/Directors Application Development Leads QA Leads QA Analysts o Conduct Issue Triage and Escalation as it relates to Technical Issues for the Client/Project/Application. o Remain annually certified in secure coding practices and Affinion Data Protection policies Knowledge Skills and Abilities Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field Minimum 7 years Java Development Experience Minimum 3 years Java Messaging Services Experience Minimum 3 years Oracle Development Experience including Version 11g Minimum 5 years Web Service Development Experience ideally including experience with both SOAP and REST protocols Minimum 3 years Experience with Continuous Integration tools Additionally Desired Experience JUnit CA Layer7 Weblogic Apache Subversion software versioning and revision control system Atlassian Crucible code review toolset UNIX Shell Scripting Scheduling tools including TWS/Maestro CRON and Quartz/Java scheduling Monitoring tools including Solarwinds and/or Dynatrace Please refer to the Job description above
