• Master data specialist to support the creation and maintenance of standard parts within Teamcenter and NX reuse library. Location: Bangalore Organization: Siemens Gamesa www.siemens.com/windpower Mode of employment: Full Time Master Data processes and support is a team of 8 dedicated colleagues within the Offshore Technology R&D organization. The team supports all our offshore R&D departments across the different wind turbine platforms. Together their primary focus is on ensuring unified standard parts creation and principles Reference Designation System Power Plant code system and to ensure that relevant trainings in these topics are facilitated. The team is looking for experienced Master Data specialist with a technical background to join them. Someone who is passionate about data quality business support continuous improvements data analysis and reports. What do we expect from you? In detail your main tasks will be to: Create and maintain standard parts within Teamcenter and NX reuse library. Generating PTB Files so the STD parts are compatible for Routing Collaborating with regional and global teams to ensure Standard parts in reuse library are developed or corrected according to the designer or requester requirement Making data sets ready for ECN Creation of standard Electrical & Mechanical Routing parts and Deformable parts as per requirement in NX for different module in platforms. Creation of simplified reference sets on supplier design files in NX and helps engineering professionals produce their drawings assemblys deliverables right at the first time and release the parts with maturity levels. Creation of ECN & process for standard library parts with direct co-ordination with GPD team for quality delivery of standard parts. What do I need to qualify for this job? We picture that you have a technical background as Engineer combined with 3-5 years of relevant experience It is a requirement that you have at least a couple of years of experience working with teamcenter and/or NX. Experience in supporting business teams working with Teamcenter or other PLM systems is an advantage. We expect that you have experience in creating/updating/resolving user issues and ensure related documentation is in place. As a person you are an excellent communicator by nature and have attention details related to data and processes. You are proactive extrovert and self-driven and at the same time a team-player with a good sense of humor You act determined towards your SLA/milestones but adapt to changing environments easily while keeping a sense of perspective. You thrive in an international environment and you possess good English skills orally as well as written Perhaps you are already a dedicated colleague of ours and after a couple of years now looking for your next career step towards becoming a Master Data specialist.
