• Job Description At Slicepay we aim to build a financial platform driven by innovative technology. Data Scientists work with our credit risk team to help shape SlicePays credit risk strategies by processing analyzing and interpreting huge data sets. As a key member of the team you work with engineers to analyze and interpret data develop metrics to measure results and integrate new data sets into our existing credit risk model. Responsibilities Using unstructured text as input create features and make predictive behavioral models Identify unconventional data sources that can be used for predictive modeling identify ways that data can be captured and then use that data to further refine existing models Build models for increasing marketing effectiveness collections effectiveness and predict the probability of default. Minimum Qualifications1-3 years experience in data scienceTie 1 college graduatesExperience in NLP text analytics and predictive modelingExperience with databases and scripting languages (such as Python)Preferred QualificationsAbility to draw conclusions from data and recommend actions.Demonstrated leadership and self-direction.Demonstrated willingness to both teach others and learn new techniques.
