Job Description

• 1) Ensuring Safe and efficient performance of the vessels owned/managed by ASL through the respective Technical Superintendents and maintaining Technical Standards2) Ensuring vessels meeting CP requirements and budget with respect to vessel performance, speed, consumption and downtime,3) Preparing Operating Budgets including maintenance, repairs, dry-docking, surveys, luboils, stores and spares along with Superintendent,4) Assisting and overseeing the Superintendent in planning and executing major repairs/dry-dockings for all vessels. Whenever the nature of the job or the experience level of the attending superintendents requires so, then commencing dry-docks in consultation with the Top Management ,5) Co-ordinating with the Technical Superintendents on a daily basis and ensure superintendents are properly instructed and informed. ,6) Keeping Management appraised of potential issues/actions planned with regards to the ships and technical management and reporting on important aspects on vessels. ,If the above job does not suit your profile, you can still apply as we have various vacancies across different cities & job areas
