Youll join an inspiring and curious team of technologists focused and dedicated on enhancing the firms BI / MI capabilities. We are improving the design analytics development coding testing and application programming that goes into creating a high quality software and transforms into a visually stimulating and insightful products. Youll be tasked with keeping the team and other key stakeholders up to speed on the progress of whats being developed. Coming in with an understanding of the importance of end-to-end software development-such as Agile frameworks-is imperative. Moreover youll be working with and sharing ideas information and innovation with our global team of technologists from all over the world.Skills and Experience:Looking for a strong full stack engineer with UI/UX expertizeBS degree in Computer Science Engineering Mathematics Statistics related fields or equivalent practical experience.8 years of industry experience with 4 years in front end developmentExperience with containers microservices and cloudStrong Java Server-side/ Backend developmentFull stack capabilities with React.js or other web frameworks (Angular Vue.js Ember etc.) desiredDeep understanding of Computer Science fundamentals: "Gang of Four design patterns data structures and algorithms interface designs multithreading integration patternsHands on building REST web services with SpringHands on building JPA data access layers with Spring and HibernateExperience building high-performance highly-available and scalable distributed systemsProficiency in SQL (MySql MariaDb or Oracle)Contribution to open source projects or portfolio of websites youve created is a huge plusThis role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities including:Expertise in application data and infrastructure architecture disciplinesAdvanced knowledge of architecture design and business processesKeen understanding of financial control and budget managementAbility to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goalsProficiency in the majority of the technologies: AngularJS React Bootstrap Spring Cloud with the scope to introduce and evangelize new toolsetsUnderstanding of true agile software delivery with high touch interaction with our internal customersAbility to create a strategy for our entire customer presence (UX) and work with our vendor to identify other comms. mechanismsGood influencing skills to supporting working with multiple teams across JPMC tech to ensure successful deliveryOur Corporate & Investment Bank relies on innovators like you to build and maintain the technology that helps us safely service the worlds important corporations governments and institutions.
