The centers provide comprehensive strategic support across technology and business operations processing to all lines of business and the corporate functions.The Risk Management Associate is responsible for the design and executions of Data Quality and business controls supporting Risk Policy Strategies. The Candidate is responsible for developing analyzing reporting and challenging data. Participates in initiatives and recommends opportunities for improved efficiency effectiveness and/or risk reduction. Works to identify assess and action various data quality risks and opportunities associated with critical strategies. This role provides a unique opportunity to blend complex analytics with oversight of execution while implementing/managing a series of controls to help strengthen Risk Managements controls agenda.Responsibilities:The successful applicant will participate in a wide variety of analysis including the creation of business controls in support of various strategic initiatives. Both analytic and business control related activities include:Maintain rigorous quality control process to prevent defects and identify new issuesIdentify potential break points and develops effective preventive and detective controlsAudit accounts in their respective function to ensure all strategies and processes are functioning as designed and perform root cause analysis on trends against these strategies and/or processesBuild effective dashboards to illustrate trends identify opportunities and provide insight based findingsAssist in the development implementation and maintenance of our IT risk management frameworkBuild and maintain effective relationships with business partners create an environment of reliable data transparency of issues escalation and accountabilityTake personal ownership for achieving outstanding results and exercising strong leadership skillsBachelors degree masters degree in quantitative field preferred. Strong analytical background is required.5 years of Risk Management or financial services experienceHigh degree of technical skills with demonstrated experience with software packages / platforms such as SQL SAS TOAD Teradata Oracle UNIX and TableauCandidates should be action oriented with a focus on results display strong analytical skills be able to assess and clearly articulate complex ideas and possess creativity.Proven process improvement experienceMust possess organizational and time management skillsMust be able to effectively handle competing priorities and have the ability to work as a part of multiple teamsMust have outstanding attention to detail and ability to learn complex processes that affect various functions and business units within unitsMust enjoy working in a fast-paced business environmentAbility to interact with all levels of management and business partnersAbility to work independently with minimal supervision
